VANITY PLANET Unboxing
A little self-cafe can go a long way, especially on a Sunday, when I want to sleep in, but can’t, because it takes nearly an hour to drive to Church and “the man upstairs” isn’t waiting. So for a touch of motivation, I decided I would do a VANITY PLANET unboxing, Rose Gold Edition.
Today I’ll be featuring the Aira Facial Steamer and the Essia Face Spatula, because steam isn’t limited to the teacup, and sometimes you really do need a s̶l̶a̶p̶ spatula* in the face to wake you up in the morning.
I’ll start with the Aira. I can’t tell you how many times I searched the internet for a good quality facial steamer. That was until I saw the Aira featured in an article, also featuring one of my favourite brands, The Honest Company. The rose gold base immediately caught my attention and I continued to read from there.
The Aira is an ionic steamer that is said to keep pores clear by hydrating and softening the skin via steam (obviously). The sound of that alone, was enough to make me want one. I love the way my skin feels from the steam in the shower, so I figured this will would make for a nice way to relive that feeling when I’m not showering, but need that little “pick me up”, more like wake me up. It also comes with little baskets for diffusing essential oils that can be attached on the front. I have yet to try these, but so far I’m loving the steamer, itself and I’ll be sure to provide a future update.
Now for the Essia. This was something I actually wasn’t looking for, but became intrigued by once I was redirected to Vanity Planet’s website after reading up on the Aira. While I’m used to using a spatula in the Kitchen, I’ve never used one in the bathroom. That was until I discovered this Ultrasonic spatula for the face.
There are 3 settings on the Essia in which you can exfoliate, moisturize, and/or lift. I’m still figuring out how to incorporate all of these options into my skin-care routine, so I’ll have to get back to you all on how that goes, but so far, I have no complaints.
If both of these products are of interest, I recommend buying the discounted bundle on VP’s site. That’s the route I went and I’m very pleased with both items. Plus, I love how much they match my Avari UV toothbrush holder (pictured below), and you all know how I feel about a good matchy matchy moment, so that’s exciting.
Looking forward to future updates! What do you do to practice self-care? Let me know in the comments below or on IG @haveyour.c.a.k.e
